Bergen, 21 August 2024: Scana (the Company) has delivered the best quarter after
reorganization from Scana Industrier - with high revenue and strong EBITDA
margin.
Q2 2024 Financial Highlights
· Revenue NOK 545 million
· EBITDA NOK 80 million
· EBITDA margin 14.7 %
· Order intake NOK 479 million
· Order backlog NOK 1,074 million
The Energy division is developing a strong market position confirmed by two
substantial contracts for mobile dc-chargers and E-house modules, and seven new
contracts as subsequent events.
The Offshore division has delivered steady operational performance with a high
EBITDA margin. Seasystems was awarded a substantial contract for the delivery to
the FPSO turret market.
By establishing a subsidiary in Namibia, PSW Technology supports their
customers' international growth.
With a robust financial position, Scana can seize new strategic opportunities,
both organically and through M&A.
Changes in Board of Directors
Bjørn Gabriel Reed has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board of Scana
ASA. Reed has been a board member since August 2023. Gunnar Winther Eliassen has
decided to prioritize other commitments and has informed the company that he
will step down from the Board of Directors.
