Realfiction updates its website and participates at Display Week 2024
Realfiction Holding AB (“Realfiction” or “the Company”) announces the launch of an update on its website, www.realfiction.com, reflecting the strong focus on signing license agreements with commercial partners for its groundbreaking Directional Pixel TechnologyTM (DPT) platform for glasses-free 2D, 3D and holographic 3D in full resolution for one, two or several viewers at the same time. Realfiction will also participate at Display Week 2024 in San Jose, USA, in May to continue ongoing commercial dialogues and present its OLED DPT proof-of-concept display to more potential commercial partners and other interested parties.
The updated Realfiction website describes how the DPT technology platform works, its compatibility with LCD, OLED and microLED, and its key strengths compared to current display products and competing next-gen display technologies. It also provides numerous examples on how to use the DPT platform to create next-generation display products in various relevant market segments such as home entertainment and cinema, development and design, in-car displays, exhibitions and events, advertisement etc. The updated website is expected to boost awareness among additional potential commercial partners all over the world in a wide array of relevant industries.
The Company is also excited to participate at Display Week 2024, on May 12–17 in San Jose, California, USA. This year, Realfiction will bring its OLED DPT proof-of-concept display to Display Week, and also support its partner Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) as they will present a whitepaper on the huge benefits of using its super-fast ferroelectric liquid crystal display (FLCD) technology for 3D to avoid resolution loss. Realfiction has been granted the exclusive rights to use HKUST’s FLCD technology for this purpose as a part of its DPT platform.
“In 2024, we have a strong focus on signing license agreements for our DPT platform with commercial partners that can put DPT-enabled display products on the market. To attract the most suitable commercial partners in a wide array of market segments, we are using physical meetings and presentations at events, as well as digital strategies where our updated website will play an important role. I look forward to returning to Display Week this year together with our other co-founder Peter Simonsen, and we feel confident that our DPT OLED display will attract interest, just like it did during the CES 2024 week in January,” says Realfiction’s CEO Clas Dyrholm.
