Hexagons början på året var utmanande, men efterfrågeutsikterna på kort sikt har förbättrats något jämfört med tidigare förväntningar. Tillväxtinvesteringar belastade lönsamheten under inledningen av året, även om återkommande intäkter och bruttomarginaler ökade.
