<div class="abstract">Bio-Works has received orders for customized GoBio pre-packed columns from a customer in the U.S. The total order value is SEK 2.3 million, with delivery scheduled for the first half of 2025.</div>The ordered product is a unique version of GoBio, developed specifically for plasmid purification - a key component in the production of viral vectors for gene therapy. By tailoring the solution, the customer has achieved results that wouldn't have been possible with a standard product. "We see a clear trend where more customers are recognizing the value of customized purification solutions to optimize their processes. This is where Bio-Works is well positioned to contribute," says Lone Carlbom, CEO of Bio-Works. "Our strength lies in the combination of technical expertise and flexibility, allowing us to quickly develop niche products with real impact. At the same time, it strengthens our product portfolio and opens doors to more customers with similar needs. It's a win-win." GoBio is Bio-Works' line of pre-packed columns - a growing product segment in the so-called "plug and play" category.
