Innofactor är verksamt inom IT-sektorn. Bolaget är inriktade mot att erbjuda tjänster inom digitalisering och molnbaserade lösningar. @joni.gronqvist har gjort en utmärkt analys av detta företag.  Onni Bidco’s tender offer for Innofactor’s shares fell about 10% short of the target of more than 90% during the first offer period, and the company has therefore decided to extend its offer. Innofactor also made several other announcements yesterday, the most important of which was a negative profit warning on revenue and EBITDA, which led us to slightly lower our forecasts. In our view, the offer is still a good one for shareholders from a number of perspectives and we believe there is a strong likelihood that the offer will be successful. We reiterate our target price of EUR 1.68 and our Reduce recommendation and also recommend accepting the offer. Många hade återigen höga förväntningar på Innofactor, men företaget svek förväntningarna. Finns det långsiktiga tillväxtdrivkrafter i företaget?  Det är värt att läsa denna färska analys: Innofactor’s Q2 results fell short of expectations as the challenging market also impacted the company’s performance. New sales remain challenging, although the order book increased from the previous quarter. In particular, we lowered our earnings forecasts for the coming years due to new sales and the challenge of managing billing rates. We expect that the company will have to issue a profit warning for the current year. With our forecasts (2024e P/E 11x and EV/EBIT 9x), the stock’s valuation picture is rather neutral, although there is clear upside in the longer term. We lower Innofactor’s target price to EUR 1.20 (was 1.55) reflecting estimate revisions. We also lower our recommendation to Decrease (was Accumulate). As a result, Innfoactor will not receive the previously awarded damages of 2.3 MEUR in full.

The order book decreased and supports the next few quarters, but Innofactor must succeed in new sales, which it had confidence in. We expect moderate organic growth in the coming years and slight profitability improvement. With our estimates the share’s valuation (2023e P/E 10x and EV/EBIT 9x) is still attractive, considering the stronger base for earnings growth although uncertainty in the IT market is still elevated.

Innofactor announced yesterday that its CFO Markku Puolanne has decided to transfer to assume responsibilities with another employer and has resigned from his position on June 7, 2023. His period of notice is four months and the last working day shall be October 7, 2023. Naturally, we believe that the change will create a small discontinuity, but we do not believe it involves any greater drama.

His period of notice is four months and the last working day shall be October 7, 2023. Poland started as CFO in August 2019. Innofactor's business, and especially profitability, has developed positively since then. Naturally, we believe that the change will create a small discontinuity, but we do not believe it involves any greater drama. Innofactor has initiated actions to hire a new CFO. CEO Sami Ensio will temporarily take over the CFO's tasks as of October 7, 2023, unless the new CFO to be selected is able to assume their duties by that time.
