TELESTE NORTH AMERICA'S ORDERS ARE INCREASING, AND PRODUCTION CAPACITY IS RAMPING UP AS PLANNED
Teleste announced in March 2024 that its ICON 1.8 GHz intelligent amplifiers, meeting DOCSIS 4.0 specification, have been approved by its lead customer and commercial deliveries have commenced in North America.
During 2024, several cable broadband operators have evidenced the benefits of 1.8 GHz intelligent technologies and started transitioning their investments to next generation products. Teleste has received additional orders from its North American customers during Q4 2024, resulting in over 20 million Euros cumulative order intake in 2024. Some of these orders have been delivered during 2024, but majority of the orders will be delivered during the first half of 2025. Production capacity has been increased to meet rising demand, with ongoing improvements in logistics and manufacturing to support future needs.
DOCSIS 4.0 1.8 GHz technology enables 10 Gbps broadband speeds for households. Teleste Intelligent Networks concept enables economical and fast upgrades of cable broadband networks, offering lower Total Cost of Ownership of the network infrastructure. In addition, intelligent amplifiers enable remote monitoring and troubleshooting, including automation of network maintenance processes, which improves service reliability and offers further operational cost savings of the network infrastructure.
From the beginning of financial 2025 year, Teleste will start to share more detailed geographical distribution of its revenue for both of its business units.
