Successful Launch of OptiCept's New PEF System for Solid Foods in North America
OptiCept Technologies ("OptiCept") participated alongside its partner FPS Food Process Solutions ("FPS") at PACK EXPO International, the world's largest packaging and processing trade show for the food industry.
In collaboration with its solid food partner FPS, OptiCept recently launched the new OptiCEPT® S7 PEF system, designed for the solid food industry. The new product is now being introduced to the market, including through participation at PACK EXPO International in Chicago, USA.
“The exhibition has been very rewarding; we’ve had the opportunity to personally meet some of the largest and most important players in the U.S. food industry. Our new demo unit allowed us to demonstrate the technology's potential directly to visitors, which makes a big difference. The feedback has been very positive! There is a strong desire to streamline food processes, and access to investment capital is good, so I am confident North America will become an important market for OptiCept,” says Thomas Lundqvist, CEO of OptiCept Technologies.
Less than a year ago, OptiCept entered a partnership with FPS, a global leader in turnkey food process solutions with over 1,000 employees worldwide. The purpose is to jointly develop, manufacture, and sell PEF applications for the solid food industry, with an initial focus on potato processing. A global launch of the new OptiCEPT® S7 PEF system is underway, with a strong focus on sales and marketing.
The patented OptiCEPT® S7 system combines hygienic design and robust construction with next-generation PEF technology to ensure optimal processing while maintaining high energy efficiency with minimal power consumption.
Next, OptiCept and FPS will participate in Interpom in Kortrijk, Belgium (November 24-26, 2024), an exhibition for the potato industry.
