Tamtron Group Plc: Lahti Precision acquisition completed on 1 March 2023
Tamtron Group Plc announced on 2 February 2023 that it had agreed to acquire the entire share capital of HPP Bulk Technologies Ltd., the parent company of Tamtron's Finnish competitor, weighing technology company Lahti Precision Ltd. The acquisition has been completed today on 1 March 2023 and HPP Bulk Technologies Ltd. has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tamtron Group Plc.

Lahti Precision Ltd. is a Finnish weighing technology company with over a hundred years of expertise, specializing in the development of industrial competitiveness in various industries. The main products and services of Lahti Precision cover industrial weighing solutions (e.g. truck scales, big bag stations, conveyor belt scales, dispensing systems, mScales SaaS-service, life cycle services and calibrations). The SaaS-based material flow management system mScales developed by the company is already widely used in various industries.

In addition, Tamtron’s current subsidiaries in European countries can act as a distribution channel for Lahti Precision’s offering adding opportunities for scaling up business.
