Rottneros AB: Rottneros reduces Group Management
As part of the ongoing downsizing process in Rottneros, Group Management is being reduced from ten to seven positions. Nils Hauri, currently Director of Innovation and Strategic Projects, will become MD Rottneros Mill with special responsibility for the innovation area. HR and Communications Director Ida Mörtsell, who is currently acting MD Vallvik Mill, will become MD Vallvik Mill. She will continue to be responsible for strategic HR issues.
Sofia Hidén, MD Rottneros Mill and Anders Persson, Director Strategic Development, are leaving Rottneros.
- We need to review all parts of the Group, starting with Group Management. It is very sad to lose two such competent persons as Sofia Hidén and Anders Persson, but right now we have no choice, says Lennart Eberleh. I would like to extend a big thank you to both Sofia and Anders for their contributions during their time at Rottneros. With their dedication and professionalism, they have made a big difference.
- It doesn't always turn out as you imagine. The job I accepted becomes something completely different in this situation and therefore I choose to resign. It was a short but fun time at Rottneros. From what I've learned so far, I see great opportunities for Rottneros when the market turns, says Anders Persson
Rottneros issued a profit warning on March 21, 2025 followed by a notice affecting 47 people on March 25, 2025.
