Gjensidige has entered into a new framework agreement with Itera, which will
continue to be their strategic partner in digitalisation and design. The
agreement lasts for three years with automatic renewal, thus keeping Gjensidige
as one of Itera's largest customers.
"Technology is a key factor for efficiency and innovation at Gjensidige, and we
see Itera as the right partner to realise our digitalisation ambitions. By
adopting new technologies, including cloud-based solutions, we can improve our
operational efficiency and deliver more value across the business. This will be
crucial for delivering user-friendly products to our customers with a fast
time-to-market. We have had a good partnership with Itera for many years and are
very satisfied with their distributed delivery model with both local and Central
European consultants. We are pleased that this cooperation will continue, as our
cultures align well, and we have succeeded with excellent deliveries over a long
period," says Johan Rostoft, EVP Technology & Insight at Gjensidige.
Itera has been Gjensidige's digitalisation partner for more than 20 years.
During this period, Gjensidige has achieved significant progress in
digitalisation and automation, especially in the Nordic market. Gjensidige has
among other things focused on efficient claims processing and automated sales
processes, which have reduced operating costs. The company has also improved the
customer experience through its mobile app and online platform and is among the
most advanced when it comes to digital sales services in Norway.
"We are very proud that Gjensidige, one of Northern Europe's most prominent
insurance companies, has chosen to extend the agreement with us. This is a great
vote of confidence and a confirmation of the good cooperation we have had over
many years. Over the course of more than 200 years, Gjensidige has consistently
worked to provide reassurance to its customers by ensuring the protection of
their lives, health, and valuables in a sustainable manner. We greatly
appreciate being able to support the good work they do, both with preventive
measures and assistance when damage has occurred. Their experience and expertise
benefit the entire society, and we look forward to continuing this important
collaboration," says Arne Mjøs, CEO of Itera.
