Impero A/S: Key automotive IT security certification renewal keeps Impero in the driver's seat
Copenhagen, 13 May 2024
The Nasdaq First North-listed Software-as-a-Service company Impero A/S (https://impero.com/) has renewed its Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange (TISAX) certification for a further three years, maintaining zero non-conformities from the assessment result.
TISAX is an assessment and exchange mechanism for the information security of enterprises and provides ease of doing business with customers in highly regulated industries, such as car manufacturing, in which TISAX is the leading information security initiative.
CEO Rikke Stampe Skov says the certification renewal is proof that security is fundamental to Impero's license to operate, and its commitment to the highest standards of information security.
"Security is central to everything we do at Impero. Customers trust us and our platform to handle their data and we must live up to that trust by maintaining the highest-possible standards of security," Rikke says.
"Our TISAX assessment is based on the ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27002 information security standards but has additional requirements designed to meet the specific needs and regulations of the automotive sector, including prototype protection, data protection and third-party relationships. These are critical to an IT assessment process prior to a customer choosing Impero.
"It means we can continue to serve the four leading automotive brands we have as customers today with a TISAX certification valid until 2027, and is a strong foundation for us to remain the compliance platform of choice for even more customers in heavy-regulated industries for which data security is fundamental to choosing a software platform."
Rikke says this renewal builds on Impero's data security accreditations.
"In addition to TISAX, we adhere to security measures provided by Microsoft Azure, such as AICPA SOC 2 and ISO 27001. We not only meet industry-based compliance standards such as ISAE 3402 Type II, but the most stringent requirements, in addition to performing regular penetration tests and security audits," Rikke says.
"This is testament to the work of the whole Impero team to embed the highest-possible standards that make it possible for us to simplify compliance for some of the world's biggest and most complex businesses."
