Hexatronic Group is a telecom company. The company specializes in the development of fiber communication. The company develops, markets, and delivers solutions to a broad base of corporate customers, primarily operating in the Nordic region and Europe. Customers include product owners, network owners, resellers and system integrators. Part of the product development also takes place in collaboration with other cooperation partners on a global level. The head office is located in Gothenburg.

Hexatronic har haft det kämpigt på börsen sedan sin Q2:a. Med ett dropp på cirka 26% bara senaste månaden har det blivit mycket snack kring bolaget.  Sedan rapporten har man gjort ett förvärv, ATG Technology Group Limited (”ATG”), en unik aktör inom fiberindustrin på Nya Zeeland. Här kan ni läsa mer om det förvärvet.  Förra veckan gick bolaget ut med ett pressmeddelande med en uppdatering kring bakgrunden av den senaste tidens aktiekursrörelser där man nämner att främst Tyskland och USA har haft en svagare marknadsförhållande än väntat. Har investerarna tappat förtroende för Hexatronic? Relationen blev inte starkare när flera mediahus (Di, aktiespararna) skrev om att Hexatronic hade dagen innan man släppte PR:et om sämre marknadsutsikter, snackat med SEB som i sin tur skickade ut en kortare analys till sina kunder. Det ledde till att aktien rasade dagen innan Hexatronic själva gick ut med budskapet till hela marknaden. Redeye nämner att det är just förtroendet från investerarna som är orsaken till den droppade aktiekursen.  Nu är vi en månad bort från den kommande Q3:an och vi får se hur tonläget och relationen är då när det är dags.

Låt oss starta en tråd om Hexatronic. Företaget startade webbsändningar med Inderes Q2 låter hoppas Inderes kan också börja göra aktieanalyser på Hexatronic. Bolaget producerar optiska kablar, datacentertjänster och hårda miljötjänster för militära och tunga produktionskunder. <div class="mfn-preamble"><p><strong>Hexatronic has decided to start manufacturing its industry leading fiber-optic cables in the US. This decision is accompanied by a commitment for investment in equipment, additional staff and training at Hexatronic’s Clinton, South Carolina facility. The new production lines are expected to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2026.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>"This is an important signal to our US customers. We are setting up production to consolidate our position as a local producer more clearly. We expect this to further strengthen our position in Fiber Solutions for the US market," said Martin Åberg, Acting CEO of Hexatronic.</p><p>Hexatronic's air-blown fiber solutions allow customers to build robust, quality-assured fiber networks significantly faster and more cost-effectively than with legacy solutions, which are still common in the United States.</p><p>“We see an increasing interest in Hexatronic's solutions among the industry, due to the unique ability to enable customers to reduce cost without sacrificing capability. Production in the US has become increasingly important and something many customers are asking for. This is a strong demonstration of our commitment to this market," said Brian Riley, CEO of Hexatronic US.</p><p>This investment represents that last strategic move to for Hexatronic to be able to offer a full suite of US made ‘Build American – Buy American’ (BABA) certified products to customers. Production of fiber cables is planned to be housed in an existing Hexatronic facility in Clinton, South Carolina.</p><p>The US is Hexatronic's largest market, accounting for 37 percent of the Group's sales in 2024. In total, Hexatronic has six production facilities in the US, four of which are in the Fiber Solutions business area, one in Harsh Environment and one in Data Center.
