A global leader in digital payments has further improved their SSH key governance capabilities by expanding their Universal SSH Key Manager (UKM) deal with SSH Communications Security (SSH). The expansion is worth 170k USD, with the total value of the deal amounting to around 500k USD.
As a global player, the company facilitates transactions between consumers, merchants, financial institutions, and government entities across more than 200 countries and territories.
The customer has a vast server and key estate to manage and secure. With the UKM solution, the company is able to discover all their keys, prevent any malicious or negligent key use for critical access, produce policy reports, and fulfill compliance and regulatory requirements, like DORA, PCI-DSS or SOX.
“Key governance is just as important in critical environments as password management for proper access management governance. This is because SSH keys are an authentication method used to gain access to encrypted connections between systems. There are up to 10 times more SSH keys than passwords in large IT environments,” states Rami Raulas, Interim CEO of SSH. “We are excited to expand our partnership with a global financial institution and help them secure their critical transactions,” Raulas concludes.
