Freemelt is a new member of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium – to Accelerate the adoption of Additive Manufacturing in North America
Freemelt-Americas, Inc. has signed a Membership Agreement with the Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium, which drives the development of innovative manufacturing technologies to accelerate the adoption of Additive Manufacturing (AM) by industry in North America.
The Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) is one of the leading research universities in North America. Georgia Tech has deep experience in the research of Advanced and Additive Manufacturing Technologies, supported by the US government, industry, and the education system. Georgia Tech facilitates a wide range of AM technologies and has utilized a 6 kW Open E-PBF (Electron Powder Bed Fusion) AM System Freemelt ONE since 2022.
Georgia Tech Manufacturing 4.0 Consortium is a membership-based consortium that brings together industry, academia, and government to develop and deploy cutting-edge advanced manufacturing technologies, to foster innovation and strengthen the competitiveness of the American industry.
