Capsol Technologies ASA: Capsol Technologies selected as Energy Innovation Pioneer at S&P Global's CERAWeek 2025 - Recognized for advancing cost-efficient carbon capture at scale

Capsol Technologies

Capsol Technologies has been selected as one of six Energy Innovation Pioneers at CERAWeek 2025 by S&P Global, the world's leading energy conference, held March 10 - 14, 2025, in Houston, Texas.

The recognition highlights Capsol's role in advancing scalable and cost-efficient carbon capture solutions to accelerate industrial decarbonization. The 2025 class of Energy Innovation Pioneers features cutting-edge technologies and visionaries driving the transformation of the energy landscape - innovations that have the potential to disrupt the global energy industry.

Policy support driving market growth

Capsol's recognition coincides with significant policy advancements supporting carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies.

  • United States: The Trump administration, alongside several U.S. states, is actively promoting carbon capture and storage (CCS) deployment.
  • European Union: The EU is advancing its climate objectives through initiatives like the proposed 'Clean Industrial Deal,' aimed at bolstering clean technology investments and reducing industrial carbon emissions.

These policy developments enhance the market potential for Capsol's carbon capture technology across both regions.

Well-positioned for accelerating technology deployment

"Being named an Energy Innovation Pioneer at CERAWeek 2025 is a testament to Capsol's technological leadership and the escalating demand for commercially viable carbon capture solutions," said Wendy Lam, CEO of Capsol Technologies.

"Our CapsolEoP® solution is demonstrating its capability to make CCS both financially and operationally feasible for industrial emitters. With strengthening policy support in both the U.S. and Europe, we are well-positioned to expand our market reach and accelerate the deployment of our technology."

CERAWeek program

As an Energy Innovation Pioneer, Capsol will engage in Agora Studios sessions at CERAWeek:

  • March 11, 09:00-09:30 CST: Wendy Lam will participate in the panel discussion, "Energy Innovation Pioneers - Pushing hard tech to commercialization?"
